UG To shut down?

Ultimate-guitar.com is a large guitar tab site with a large community, and it has been questioned as to why they haven't shut down with the others - they have recently recieved a letter from the Music Publishers Accosiation (MPA). Apparently they are "making a stand" and are not going to shut down (I personally don't care much either way as they have been known to steal tabs from my beloved PTA and put them up there without due credit). It'll be interesting, though, as whether they shut down could show the seriousness of the issue (most other sites have, probably sensibly, shut down without question when they recieved their letter).

Came across this. Looks interesting.

"Blogger.com will now publish individual posts to the Blogspot servers, instead of republishing the entire blog after each post. Besides making the system easier to use, perhaps this will also solve the problem of Blogger blogs republishing their entire feeds and appearing as unread in feed readers."

Very useful, if you have a lot of posts and a slow connection.

I'm also liking the sound of this:

"Drag and drop layout. That’s downright innovative, both building your blog’s template and changing the position of elements later will be possible with a drag and drop interface."

Awesome instrumental.
0.o Just amazing. you should really check this out whether you play guitar or not - although this guy has amazing ability that does not always guarantee good music, however I'm sure you will agree this is a beautiful and powerful song.

(Random thought: Why do weomen have those tiny pots which are too small to actually put anything in? why?!).

Dumb Installer (and Flock)

Was installing a patch for The Sims earlier this week...

Um, did the guy who coded this Sims Patch even double check what he was doing? I mean, come on. Kinda paradoxical, don't ya think?

As a side note, you should see "Blogged with Flock" at the end of this post - Flock is a browser built on the Mozilla code and designed to integrate with things like Blogger and Flickr.

I was just listening to this awesome album I downloaded (yay free music ^^) called Bars Closing Down by Milhaven, and I thought I should post it. If you haven't heard of the band I recommend them for some awesome chilling out/relaxing/haunting music.
